The City Council is embarked on developing the above and a study is to take place over the next few months.

The need for a supermarket and a community centre locally are obvious but there will also be other economic developments needs for our area identified.

The project brief was discussed at the council's Economic, Employment and Skills Scrutiny Committee (papers publicly available) as part of the South Manchester Regeneration Framework update on March 4th, 2008 and John Commons attended to observe and comment.

We're still waiting for these comments and observations.
