Just to let all you Leveites that there is a great book that I have just read.

It's called "Looking Back At Levenshulme & Burnage" by Gay Sussex, Peter Helm and Dr Andrew Brown.

It contains some very interesting facts about the area and some great photos.
I only hope more books come out soon.
Dr Brown used to be my GP, but alas, I did not know of his interest at the time.
The book is well worth picking up for anyone with an interest/pride in Levenshulme.

The publisher is;
Willow Publishing,
Willow Cottage,
36 Moss Lane,
Timperley,
Altrincham
Cheshire

I don't like giving a bad

I don't like giving a bad review at all script! And I must reinforce that this is simply my opinion... Levenshulme was my home for two years whilst studying in Manchester and as you may imagine, one of my first stops when I moved house was the Levenshulme Palace night club website hosting. Firstly this is obviously the home to ONLY local Mancunians I have never seen any other people there, and as a result of this I have noticed a lot of conflict there between people from conflicting Hoods or Neighbourhoods dedicated hosting. Levenshulme is a place which I would compare to Moss Side and Whalley Range as far as the culture is concerned and unfortunately there are many people who have grudges against life free web host! The Palace has one floor and it's more like a warehouse than a night club. I have heard news of extreme violence in there and have personally experienced a rain ...
