The Deputy Lord Mayor was on hand to celebrate the 80th birthday of Levenshulme Baths on Saturday with local residents. The celebrations, held on Armed Forces Day, collected for the Help for Heroes cause & were extremely well attended.

Levenshulme born Steve Wood will launch "The Angels of Mona Terrace" during this years Levenshulme Festival. Set in 1971 the book is based around the author's childhood memories growing up in the South Manchester village.
